Service terms

What to expect from the vpsmon Cloud preview and hosted monitoring service.

Preview status

vpsmon Cloud is under local validation. The public demo uses synthetic data. Live subscriptions, production email, public signup, and production hosting are not ready. These draft terms are not a paid service offer; final seller identity, support contact, governing-law details, and consumer terms must be supplied before public launch.

What Cloud does

Cloud receives optional server metrics over outbound HTTPS and presents server health, resource history, and threshold/offline incidents in a hosted dashboard. The agent's local collection and local dashboard remain independent. Cloud is not an emergency-monitoring or incident-response service, and alerts can be delayed or missed. Keep any monitoring needed for critical systems that you operate yourself.

Accounts and connected systems

You must provide an email address you control, protect your sign-in credentials, and use Cloud only for systems you own or are authorized to monitor. You are responsible for checking the information sent from your servers, including the optional incident snapshots, and for meeting any notice or permission obligations that apply to people or organizations whose systems or data you monitor.

Trial and planned plan

The current product design provides a one-day, no-card trial for one server. It begins with the first accepted server heartbeat, not account creation. If no subscription is active when the trial expires, Cloud stops accepting new telemetry and leaves existing history available in the account. The separate local vpsmon dashboard, if installed, is not affected.

The current planning price is $4.99 USD per month for up to five connected servers. This is not live pricing. Any live offer will show its actual seller, price, currency, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and other material terms before you confirm a purchase.

Availability and changes

The preview may change, pause, or be unavailable while it is developed. There is no service-level commitment in this preview. We will describe any future support and availability commitments in the live service terms.

Ending access

You can stop Cloud by disconnecting the agent, removing a server, or deleting your account. Trial expiry or an ended/paused subscription stops new Cloud uploads; it does not automatically delete existing history. Account deletion removes workspace data from the active database, but encrypted backups may retain a copy until rotation. Nothing in these draft terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
